New Guitars

I have had a little busy spell in between the commissions I have had. so here's a quick update on the latest instruments from ShonKy.


There's this big ole Box guitar made from an old oak box and a Kay neck and pickup.

There's also this nice little tenor cigar box guitar

And the latest is this smiley little fellow.

I try to avoid using internet abbreviations as much as possible but it seemed appropriate when I blindly stumbled upon this monstrosity.

I kid you not! currently on sale on Etsy for $2700! Made to order.

(It reminds me of the bit in From Dusk Till Dawn when the band are playing guitars made from body parts.)

The Big and the Small

I can't believe Ive never seen this before. Actually sounds pretty good. I would have thought a scale length as long as that must have to have fairly haighly tensioned strings or they would be flopping about all over the place. Kudos for the guy playing it too it can't be easy. (sorry it won't alow me to embed)
